An mild winter preceded a warm spring. Vintage proceeded smoothly and the reds fully ripened producing full bodied, robust wines.

Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot

MATURATION
This wine has been matured for 15 months in 100% French oak barrels – 33% new with the remainder in seasoned barrels.

COLOUR
Deep red with purple edges in brilliant condition.

NOSE
Layered and complex. Blackcurrent and strawberries. Cedar and dark chocolate as well.

PALATE
Blackcurrents and mulberries dominate the mid palate. Spicey oak notes and cocoa are also there. Very full palate with the tannins balancing the fruit. A classic Margaret River wine from a great vintage.
